Setapp can be considered as an alternative store for macOS applications that offers us a wide selection of programs that are periodically renovated
For quite some time, application stores have become for many operating systems a simple and safe way of distributing software. Google has its own market for its Android APKs with Google Play and Chrome Web Store for its browser extensions, Windows has its Windows Store... and Mac and iPhone have iTunes for iOS and macOS. But as you already know, there are also alternative stores: Aptoide, Blackmart, Cydia... and in the case of Apple computers, Setapp. There's life beyond the official stores... and sometimes intelligent life forms. It's a store that offers us a subscription to 60 of the highest rated applications for an affordable monthly rate (currently under $10). The user installs the client and from there he can access the installer of each app, although not in exactly the same manner as on the App Store: here, access is granted from the desktop's upper toolbar that integrates a search engine and a shortcut to the folder that contains the apps. How does it work? It's very simple. You only have to follow these instructions: Step 1: create a user account from the service's web. Step 2: download the program's client. Step 3: take the installer to the Applications folder of your Mac. Step 4: login with your recently created user account. Step 5: access the programs through the folder located both on your Dock and the Finder. Which App Store is the best? The truth is that there's no need to decide on one or the other because you can make the most of them both. You can still take full advantage of Apple's official store with all its free and paid apps just like before. With regards to this application, for a certain amount of money every month you'll have access to a flat rate of applications that have been carefully selected and that cover different fields of use: office, communications, tools, multimedia... At least take a look at the program during the 30-day trial period and check it out for yourself.
